Bzzt! It's a Patti Smith song. U2 covered it. They also changed 'Oh God, I
fell for you' to 'Oh God, I feel for you'. Still, the song remains awesome,
IMHO.

It was the flipside to 'When love comes to town'. I don't know if Jane Siberry
covered it or not. Speaking of Jane Siberry, I recently bought 'No borders
here' and was quite (but not very) impressed.
