Subject: Interview LP
To: Love-Hounds@eddie.mit.edu
By the way (IED, who hasn't been around for a long while, will probably be repeating something already reported long ago in Love-Hounds), IED came across another new (?) interview LP in a New York store the other day. It's called "Just Saying It (Could Even Make it Happen)", and its front cover shows a nice photo of Kate at the '87 BPI's (IED refers to the ceremony at which Kate was dragooned into handing Peter Gabriel an award), wearing a high-collared black evening dress, with her hair pinned up. On the back is a color photo from Kate's appearance at the Laserium in 1985 for the premiere of the "Hounds of Love" LP (where she was accompanied by Del Palmer for the first time in a social context). The vinyl in the copy that IED saw was a peculiar sort of purplish-Pepto-Bismolish opaque color. Unfortunately, IED doesn't know what interview is on the album, as he does not have access to a turntable, but it is identified as an interview from "1985-86", so it may very well be THAT same old interview once again. Does anyone know more? -- Andrew Marvick (IED)
