I haven't seen an answer to this (but gaffa has been weird lately) so
I'll just jump in. You're unwittingly perpetuating a myth. Kate is *NOT*
afraid to fly. It hurts her ears.

Btw, I don't believe for a second that she's either going/gone to a
Ren Fair in the US, or that she buzzed her hair. I'll protect myself
by saying that *anything's* possible, but I've heard too many crazy
rumors in the 12 years that I've been a Fan to take things like that
seriously. (Then again, I wouldn't have believed that she'd flown over
the Grand Canyon, and she did. It's appropriate though, that GOD should
see one of the natural wonders of the world in person. I hope it was a
non-smoggy day.)
