I'd have to agree. My "best track" picks would be different, but that's to be expected. That aside, I think that it "feels" too much like "So"; I had expected something more from him -- particularly after this length of time! It's not a bad album; I play it. But it doesn't compare with, say, Melting-Face. ObKaTe: my first (remembered) exposure to KB was on PG-3, the melting-face album. (I actually picked that one up because the cover art was similar to the illustration in Brand's book in the MIT Media Lab, where I first heard about PG.) At some point after that, I saw TSW in the used tape bin, and sprung for it. I liked it. I picked up Lionheart from the same source -- it was a little harder to get into. And just recently, I decided to split the difference, and got HoL. (New! on CD!) And I was Quite Impressed. So now I figure I'll just go out and get a copy of everything she's ever done. :-) >Please keep mentioning other artists!! I've been rewarded immensely. Suzanne Vega. PG fans may note that Jerry Marotta does drums on Solitude Standing and 99.9 F. Eli ebrandt@jarthur.claremont.edu
