thanks to all for the copyright/permission info!!

the thing which was bothering me was the hint of plagiarism and
loss of artistic control i thought i detected.  since permission
has been given, obviously these are no longer issues.

so yes, i am happy now...albeit tempted to crawl into warmroom.
