any southerners out there?

first of all, welcome back vickie & cynthia.  and congratulations, cynthia on
your marriage.  so which one of us here on gaffa caught the bouquet?  :-)

on a different note, i think it's sad how all of us have become afraid to
mention non-kate artists here on gaffa.  first the happy fans get run off, then
the tori fans.  and now, i see people hesitant to mention clannad and kd lang. 
(check the smily faces on some of the titles, etc.)  let's remember that this
newsgroup is described as being for a discussion of alternative (or whatever
label you choose to use) artists, with an example of that being kate.  it is
*not* a kate newsgroup, but is a newsgroup for a certain style of music, which
happens to include (and is well defined as) kate.

now the real reason i am sending this.  i'm not sure if i mentioned here on
gaffa that i recently moved to the southeastern part of the united states,
specifically atlanta, georgia.  i was wondering if there are any other kate
fans out here...even in alabama or the carolinas or florida or anywhere in the
south really. if so, please contact me!   i'd love to meet some of you guys.

so what's my kate-tie to all this?  i'm not sure...okay, okay.  obkate:  isn't
it amazing how similar the kick inside picture in a box is to the ones on that
old tori amos album?  certainly kate didn't do it coincidentally!  has anyone
asked kate about this?  :-)
