On the subject of k.d. lang, I heard _Ingenue_ for the first time about
a week ago and was thoroughly impressed - I will get a copy as soon as
funding is approved ;-). I have three of her earlier disks, _Angel_with_a
_Lariot_, _Torch_and_Twang_, and the Owen Bradley sessions (the name slips
my mind at present). Although I really respect her as a vocalist I don't
care for any of these jams because they're just TOO country for my tastes,
although _Torch_and_Twang_ appeals to me somewhat (why do I feel guilty
if I like something country-ish!!?? - some of Siberry's _BBtB_ certainly is,
and I LOVE it). Ack! So, I fell over my ears, so to speak, when I heard
_Ingenue_, because I've always hoped she'd get away from the country scene
someday. Who knows, maybe some other wishes will come true, like a new
KaTe release soon 8-) .... naw! It'll never happen .....
