I was amused to find out recently that two of Kate's songs are on a standard distribution disk used in many Laser Karoake widgets which you see popping up in bars everywhere.... The two songs are: _Wuthering Heights_, and _Babooshka_. Babooshka, I can kind of understand, straightforward singing, or as straightfoward as Kate gets, and a reasonable range.... However, Wuthering Heights baffled me. I honestly can't see anybody who doesn't have Kate's tonal qualities and control could do it reasonably, by any stretch of the imagination. And, listening in for a while that night, and even getting up to do one myself, I can say first-hand that the significantly greater percentage of people singing at those have no tone, and can rarely carry a tune in a bucket... Anyways...Just for your information and amusement. Jason R. Pascucci jasonp@primerd.prime.com Love-Hound-at-Large
