archives without FTP

Hi y'all


Does anyone know if there is a way of getting stuff from the
Love-Hounds archives, other than by anonymous ftp. I mean, the
LH archives are HUGE, and downloading at 2400 baud goes VERY
"slow-mo" when you interested in such things as high-res GIFs and
massive text files (GARDEN, CL.BUSTING). Anyone have an idea?
