I was just listening to Sensual World today when I realized that Kate and Sinead O'Conner have very similar artistic styles. Both are very into ballads and have EXCEPTIONALLY melodic voices. If you really listen to Sensual World and Troy from "The Lion & The Cobra" I think you'll see that they both manage to combine a balladlike style with an upbeat if they want to. I would suggest everyone to listen to Sinead's song Heroine off of the soundtrack to the movie Captive. This song, once I went back and listened to it again, I realised is really Kate-esque. Not an artistic observation, but they are both very involved with Human Rights. A very nice trait in an artist. It's nice to know that history is repeating itself and that we now have two women of such EXCEPTIONAL talent.
