I am not lazlo@triton.unm.EDU (Lazlo Nibble). I didn't say:
>First off, I tell her as politely but as firmly as I can that if she wants
>me to produce, Del Doesn't Get To Engineer This Album. He can dance naked
>around the studio with bells tied to his ankles if he wants, but the
>minute he touches the mixing board, he dies. Period. I also tell her
>that if she wants to work with me, she's going to have to take a few
>months off to learn how to program that Series III.

You bloody cheat, that's what *I* keep saying!

What I would do is: throw out the freaking Series III. Get in an old crappy
Mirage or something. OK, maybe a Roland S-50. But nothing prettier than
that. Dump the DX-7 (god why do we have to suffer such an atrocity... ok,
the bells were nice ONCE but that crap went out with 1987 fer chrissakes).
Get in some old analog gear, like an Xpander. Or even better, a Minimoog!

All drum sounds to be sampled from Adrian Sherwood and Flood productions. A
duet between Kate and Dieter Meier (surprised you didn't think of that one,
Lazlo.). Orchestrations and arrangements by Barry Adamson, or whoever he
uses.

No more Quantec room simulator. NO MORE GATING ON THE VOCALS. Better
compression, maybe a new Lexicon for reverbs.

Remixes by Jim "Foetus" Thirlwell, Paul Oakenfold, Andy Weatherall and
Youth/The Orb/Thrash.

Just thinking about it depresses me, because I know it will never happen.
(This is what I want but I know it will never be mine?)
