fav Kate song

...well I feel a little weird saying this, but my favorite Kate is
"Lord of the Reedy River", although it's a cover.  Why?  It has an
incredibly melancholy feeling to it that I can just sink into.
After that, it's really hard to say although "The Saxophone Song"
and "The Jig of Life" are way up there...

Good to hear from IED and |>oug defending "Rocket Man", although I've
heard it many, many times now and am still not particularly moved...
but so-so (IMHO) Kate is better than most else...  A couple of people
I've been with who are familiar with Kate, although not raving fans,
have actually laughed when "Rocket Man" came on....or people ask me 
if I've heard it with gloating tones in their voices as if this is a
good jibe to make....
