Ed Suranyi asked whether I was referring to Sarah McLachlan's _Solace_ or her _Touch_ albums when I said that I wasn't able to find any of her albums earlier this week when I went to Tower Records after getting my root canal in Boston. The answer is: I don't know. I had never heard of Sarah McLachlan, and I though I would poke around at Tower to see what was there. All I found was one of those plastic dividers in the domestic "Mc" section. I assume this means that at one time they have had one or more of her albums, available domestically. (Usually, imports are in a separate section.) So. If albums reappear there, does a general concensus exist as to the best album to start with? What's it like? What's going on? Does Sarah McLachlan look like Marina Sirtis? Hey, while we're talking beautiful singers, how 'bout Julia Fordham? The cover of "Porcelain" makes me get all sweaty.
