I agree- but what is AVD?

...such as the cover to _The Whole Story_, and that photo at the end of the
Boxed Set (ooo, I said the dirty words! :) with her in her "Wuthering Heights"
dress, looking off into space... takes my breath away every time!

I personally believe she got her colors done 'long about 1986.  Her makeup
actually starts *working* at this stage (with a few exceptions, of course), and
doesn't just make her look like some Halloween creature or a young Margaret
Thatcher.  She was a casualty of the '70s in the beginning, but there's a
limit! :>
