I accidentally lost Jon's post on this so I'm glad it got
repeated here. I'm interested in those no vocals. I think I
told you in email that I like some instrumentals (I dunno if
you call it New Age or what the hell), I have a cd by
Vangelis called Themes, which has alot of themes he wrote for
films, Blade Runner included (a favorite). I like it alot,
and I'v eheard yo mention the Twin Peaks soundtrack which I'm
ordering. Tell me a little about those three you listed. I
like instrumentals which evoke feelings and images, as
mopposed to nice dentist chair instrumentals. I also really
emjoyed the Out of Africa soundtrack, though you might find it
too plebian :-), and it's best played when you're getting laid
regularly. I am, thank you very very very much! In fact, now
that I'm on the subject, I rather gravitate towards
instrumentals, classical included, that sort of evoke
emotional and erotic images. THat is not to say I gravitate
to instrumentals over vocals. Quite the opposites. I'm
saying what sort of instrumentals I do prefer. Thanks for any
info you can give me.
Oh, err, lest my image be blown, while I gravititate to
emotional evocations in music, I do try to maintain a cynical
and insensitive demeanor in my daily dealings. Phew! :-)
