And I add: I don't think that sound would be preprogrammed onto a Fairlight either, but she must've gotten it from somewhere! (Profound statement alert) Probably not right in the studio, but I can see her going out to a rifle range and taping the sound of some club member cocking their gun. It's not that hard to tape weird "incidental" noises like that. Didn't I read somewhere that the percussion in "Get Out Of My House" is partially the recorded sounds of each door in Kate's house slamming? I can see it now: "Okay Jay, really wham that one- remember, it slides on the carpet a bit- >WHUMP<- great! Now let's try the bathroom!" :) ================================================================================ Meredith Tarr "Oh yes I know I'm always falling, mtarr@eagle.wesleyan.edu Gazing at hazy goldfish in your swimming eyes" Wesleyan University -Kate Bush ================================================================================ ================================================================================ Meredith Tarr "Oh yes I know I'm always falling, mtarr@eagle.wesleyan.edu Gazing at hazy goldfish in your swimming eyes" Wesleyan University -Kate Bush ================================================================================
