My first post, so forgive my incompetance, but - I thought this was "I
caught a glimpse of the garden; Shining with light..." if you're referring
to the whispered words before the chorus.  I've been downloading stuff from
wiretap.spies.com for two days now, but haven't gotten to the lyrics stuff
yet, so I apologise if this is a common error.
  It seems plausible to me, however.  A vision of another place, bright and
beautiful.  Perhaps the Garden of Eden, perhaps something else.  I imagine
there is a reason that that IED compilation is called The Garden, but I'm
only 1/10 through now and don't know why; maybe this would shed some
light.
  BTW, hallo fellow love-hounds, wonderful group you've got here, I saw
the word "gaffa" in the title and I said "Wait a second!"
