Yes, I know, this is .gaffa, but it seems that lots of KaTe fans are
also Gabriel fans (is this so surprising?) and also into the domestic/
import distinction.

I finally got around to buying Gabriel's first solo album on CD, and, to be
frank, it sounds horrid.  Muddy sound at low levels.

Is it:

a) just me...

b) a "bad" CD (such as the recent _Lionheart_ dilemma)

c) a feature of Ezrin's production and/or bad mastering 14 years ago
