Most of the 3CD set was new stuff (at least in that form; eg, live) and just some of the pieces that Ian Anderson really likes (mostly acoustical stuff) was included directly from other albums. One of the best boxed set releases in terms of new material, IMHO. The 1CD (2LP) release is an ok sampling but is missing some of the best stuff off the boxed set.
