I'm still here

Enough flames already. This is the last one on this topic.
(All right, everyone is allowed one last snipe back. But
that's it. Really.)

I never went anywhere. Posting a message is not sufficient
to have one's self removed. I wouldn't have been upset if I was, though; there
seems so little worth reading these days.

I'm the first to admit that I was petty; I knew it at the time. 
But at least I was saying something. Unapologetic slinging of profanity 
is _not_ saying anything, and this is what is upsets me. Also, little smiley
glyphs do _nothing_ to mitigate the words, 
just as the absence of these ideograms  did not obviate the intended
humour of my original post.

I'm disturbed by a culture which tolerates random sniping
on the one hand, but blanches at actual criticism.
I'm still disturbed about this. But I know that there are
still many people in the group who have material of 
substance to communicate, and I'm happy to 'know' all of you.
