New Adrian Belew

FYI for Belew fans:

I walked into Record-Rama yesterday and noticed a new Adrian Belew CD is
out: "Young Lions".  It's like his previous Mr. Music Head where he's
playing virtually all of the instruments.  EXCEPT David Bowie sings duet
on one song and sings another song.  Yow!  The guitar is more the focus
than the piano on this CD.  Belew does a cover of King Crimson's
"Heartbeat", er, he's playing all the instruments.  He's played this
song a lot when touring with the Bears and when going solo.  He also
does a cover of what I think is a Traveling Wilbury's song.  To sum,
it's really cool.  It ain't the League of Crafty Guitarists, but it's
cool nonetheless.  Catch him live!
