You think Kate would go to all the trouble to put a U-boat into the song to rescue her, complete with German speaking and sonar pings (so you can't mistake the fact that it's a U-boat) and have her die anyway? That would be ridiculous. Besides, Kate's future self visits Kate in "Jig of Life". How could Kate's future self do that if she has no future self? Get with it man! All the signs point to a happy ending. Can't you tell something as simple as that with your literature degree? |>oug
