First, here is a list of the replies I have gotten so far, If you are not
on the list and haven't gotten a message to saying I received your response,
please try & re-send the message. None of my "I got your message" mailings
have bounced.

A few months ago, I posted a survey with the following instructions:

    Here is a list of artists, Please take this list and chop it to
    pieces, post something pertaining to one of the artists, reply to me
    and I will summarize comments. Never heard of an artist ask the
    world. I can tell you at least a song title to look for by every
    artist on this list. Others probably have more information than I
    do. If you are ambitious, *** I DARE *** someone to just try &
    classify these into various "types" of music.

Well, people responded and I posted a summary of the responses, what folks
had to say about the artists in the list. After I posted the results I got
a lot of people who had missed the survey asking if I would doing it again.
So comes about the next Eclectic Music Survey. For starters, I solicited the
readers of the net for the artists they would like to know about. I have
added all of these artists to the list.

So, if you "missed out" on the earlier survey, and didn't get to tell "the
net world" an your opinions about the artists, here is your second chance.

then post, I will include stuff I find on the net as replies to this article
[but e-mail is preferred].

I will mail copies of the previous survey results to anyone who wants a copy
[it is LONG]

To give people an example of what people did for the last survey, here is
a few sample artists and the comments I got:

ABC
    Pretty cool band, never really got to know them until "Lexicon Of Love",
    but then again, I don't think most people did either. Liked that album
    and really liked _How To Be A Zillionaire_ (especially the CD with bonus
    remixes), but didn't buy their most recent album. I think "Ocean Blue"
    and "Between You And Me" are standout tracks on the latter (as you may
    note as you read this, I like the slower songs on most every album,
    don't know why, just the way I am).

    Lexicon of Love is one of the greatest albums of the decade. The middle
    stuff sucks, but "Alphabet City" was a respectable comeback.

    Mildly interesting British pop band. They keep disappearing but they
    keep coming back. Keith LeBlanc (TACK>>HEAD) had a hand in their 'How To
    Be Millionaire' LP.

    Got into them when I was in about 8th grade with _Back in Black_. Since
    then my musical taste have grown a great deal and I find that, though I
    enjoy hard rock/metal to an extent, this band no longer gets my music
    buying dollar. If I could find the soundtrack to _Maximum Overdrive_ on
    CD however, I'd buy it (a friend has it, but I haven't been able to find
    a copy in a long time, and my Mom [yeah, my Mom likes all kinds of music
    too, must have rubbed off on her] REALLY wants to find this too).
