No, I thought the same thing; but I think it's more due to both bands'
Beatles influence than any influence they have on each other.

By the way, if you like this album, I suggest you try "Confessions of
a Pop Group" by the Style Council (worth it for the title cut alone).
Much of "Seeds of Love" reminded me of the second half of
"Confessions."
