With all this talk about "Babooshka"...

...y'all would probably like to know that according to my Stilman and Harkin's
_Russian_Grammar_ (or some such title), the word "Babooshka" actually has the
accent on the first syllable...yes, it's BA-boosh-ka.

Before IED says anything, I'll state that Kate certainly knew this, but it
wouldn't fit the lyrics as well :-?

And yes, it does mean grandmother, and I also believe that it refers to the
type of scarf that we stereotypically associate with older Russian women.
This opens the song back up for interpretation...it would seem to me that she
is incognito because she is wearing a BA-boosh-ka.

By the way, grandfather is DYE-doosh-ka (DYE- like dead, with a slight y sound
thrown in).  So go out and impress your friends.
