In article <3314@portia.Stanford.EDU> avalon@ssyx.ucsc.edu (Scott A. C. McIntyre) writes: I was hanging out in a local CD store when the owner related to me the following tale: It seems there was "this guy" that wandered into a local used book/record store and picked up something rather unique. A boxed set of CD's for Kate Bush Singles. I guess that there were several CD's that were all various compliations of singles...B sides and the such. This Guy [not his real name] got this for about 20 bucks. The record store didn't really know what was up. The owner of the store I was in said that he called the used bookstore about twenty mintues after This Guy picked up the set. The worker at the store said it was fantastic and in MINT shape... My question: Where can He/I get this??? Does anyone know who puts it out? Wher can it be orderd from? Lemme know, Merry KaTemas, Scott I'm fairly certain that there is simply some confusion going on here. There is indeed a boxed set of Kate Bush singles, but they're all 7" vinyl (most 45's). 20 bucks, on a very good day, isn't unreasonably low for a used KT boxed set. Another tipoff: usually, condition (mint/good/fair etc) is mentioned/discussed relating to vinyl, not CD's. CD's (not their packaging) are basically either mint or poor. (Yes this *is* over-generalizing). Scott Lindsey |"Cold and misty morning.
