Two questions:

1) For those of you who may know something more about
the size and inclinations of this group, HOW MANY tapes are we
talking about?

2) If this is more than 10 or so, (which I suspect) can we
arrange a recording tree so that nobody is too burdened?

I have high-end equipment, and would gladly help out, but my
time is scarce. Specifically, I have a Nakamichi LX-3 and also
a JVC HRD-470 HiFi VCR. For me to record tapes, I would have
to copy the original tape onto a HiFi VCR tape (which has more
than 90 dB s/n and is practically transparent, recording-wise)
as a master tape, and then make cassette copies from that.

My limit would be between 5 and 10, though, so if there are
others who could make copies, I could send them my copies to
record for the rest. Of course, this would take a small
amount of organization. Someone would have to act as a
central clearinghouse. If nobody else wants to, I would.

(Anything to be higher up on the recording chain!)
