Okay, I'm finally bold enough to post. On behalf of all of us
"newcomers," may I ask:

1. I gather that KB-related postings are the rule here. Are the other
   postings (i.e. The Cure, etc.)
   a) really wanted desparately,
   b) mildly encouraged,
   c) tolerated, or
   d) not desired, but you put up with them so nobody gets mad that
you have a really narrowly focused newsgroup ?

2. What is the difference (or for that matter, the similarity) between
   rec.music.gaffa and the oft-mentioned Love-Hounds? Is Love-Hounds
a group, a newsletter, a fan club, another name for the newsgroup,
or what? If there's a group involved, how does one get involved?

3. I gather that this is a moderated newsgroup. So, how does one go
about submitting something for posting? (That may be answered by
whatever happens when I try to post this.)

Finally, let me say how excited I was to discover a Kate-oriented
newsgroup. Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow!
