 In answer to your question......

 The SNL host was "Eric Idle".

 This was FANTASTICALLY annoying.

 Around here they used to play the 1/2-hour stripped "Best of SNL". Eric
Idle et. al. had enough comedy to fill that up. In fact I think they did
two "Best of's" out of that show.

 So there were these two Eric Idle "Best of SNL's" and THEY TOOK OUT
KATE (ARGH). I'm pretty sure she shows up in the crowd during the end
credits.

 Once again.....ARRRRRGGGHHH.
