It's a wonderful, > wonderful world, isn't it? -- |>oug ] Yes, passing over Kate for any Madonna video, particularly that Madonna video, was an extreme lapse in taste. I'd hesitate to say there was any taste there in the first place for there to be a lapse in, except for the well-deserved recognition accorded to Peter Gabriel. This demonstrated more taste that I'd have ever given those guys credit for. And, really, what do you expect from a station which calls "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi the number one video of all time? Except for the female video award mentioned above, and the cinematography award to Robbie Nevill (sp?) for "C'est La Vie", I wasn't too shocked or disappointed in anything I saw that night, except for the completely indecipherable jumble which constituted Prince's second song. Oh, well, at least he was actually playing live... -- ************************ |UUCP: {hplabs, decwrl}!sun!misun!duane ..but one of the choices | COM: duane%misun@sun.com turns existence into art |ARPA: duane@sun.arpa ************************ |USPS: 2550 Garcia Ave. M/S M3-76, Mtn.
