Starkman concern

I just got a flyer from a mail order house called the starkman
concern, POB 875257, LA CA 90087 w/ alsorts of good stuff in it
like 4waycross, drowing pool, BPeople rarities (.60 for the single
and 1.50 for the 12" inch), and grabbag 50 singles for 10 bucks!
Yow!  Does anybody know if these people are for real?

short takes:

  --> LA Hardcore: sorta dormant, y'know? next shows are
    Corrosion of Conformity, SNFU, BLAST and somebuddy else,
    all from out of town.  then Scratch Acid.  So, draw yerown
    conclusions.

  --> Jeffery Lee Pierce: God, who knows?  I know that he went
    on a solo tour after _Wildweed_ came out, which was, umm
    a while back.  Since then???

  --> Is Forced Exposure still in business?? or did they just
   steal my money??
