Since I've been getting LH, I have occasionally gone out and bought stuff mentioned here. Some of it I found that I like (Cocteau Twins, Robyn and the Egyptians, Surfers, etc.) some of it I have found extremely boring (Depeche Mode, Windham Hill, etc). What I find most frustrating, however, is a total innability to find some things at all. Well, it happened again this weekend. After reading the recent commentary on Diamanda Gallas, my curiosity peaked. I figured I just had to hear this amazingly evil francophone for myself. So I again ventured to every record store I can think of in SE Connecticut and alas, not a trace. So, could somebody give me some idea where I can find representative samples of her stuff (possibly mailorder), the name of a record label, the country of origin etc. Thanks in advance. Also, The questions concerning this weird mail I've been getting lately from Doug Trainor (SP?) in that otherwise incomprehensible message I sent on vocal ranges, were serious ones. Will somebody please fill me in on the meaning of the strangely coloured shapes which could be seen by obliterated people, outside some cabin, near some cool lake, presumably in the DC area. And also, did Hofmann also see these coloured shapes, even in a presumably non-drugged state, which he maintains he is always in? John ------
