Thanks for the update, Neil, esp. the Times
review. Your notices are much appreciated
this end. Any possibility you could tell us
something about the film for "Experiment IV",
and the "Don't Give Up" video? IED spent nearly
an hour this morning fast-cueing eight and a half
hours of MpTV (recorded over the past night), and
found absolutely NOTHING worth watching at real
speed. (Needless to say, neither of the above
appeared.) Each time he goes through one of these
sped-up monitoring sessions of that station, IED
lapses into several hours of severe depression.

On the up side, he found a copy of the new US
promotional poster for The Whole Story, obviously
designed once again by the same EMI-America chappie
who did the last two US posters. It is a dynamite
poster. The central image is the front cover photo
from the LP, but arranged around the edges of the
photo are inset colour photos of all the LPs and
singles, creating a kind of sparkling effect.

"Experiment IV" does get a little airplay on
the sleazy trendy L.A. rock station KROQ. Look
for it in the Billboard charts soon. Meanwhile
The Whole Story ENTERED the Record Mirror charts
with a platinum star (for 300,000 units in the UK).
