I was going to write something disputing IED's sweeping generalizations about the lack of musical depth and refinement in Peter Gabriel's music, but will spare all of you because: 1) I don't want to prolong the TD vs. HOL debate 2) Joe Turner is probably preparing a long flame anyway :-) 3) I have another addition to the "music inspired by Wilhelm Reich" list. Apparently the title track of Poison Gas Research's album The Flickering of Sowing Time is "inspired" (whatever that means) by Reich. Unfortunately the album is much less cool than the incredibly cool name. PGR does some nice industrial ambient stuff, with interesting little collage things, but it's nothing to write home about. (Not that I write home about my new Big Black, Sonic Youth, or Butthole Surfers albums...:-)) I was also going to suggest you check out the hilarious industrial dance cover of Another Brick in the Wall, but Greg Earle already did...
