You're The One

A song on the album The Red Shoes.

The lyrics include a passing reference to the opening lines of the song A Whiter Shade Of Pale by Procol Harum, which are:

"We skipped the light fandango
and turned cartwheels cross the floor"
This is surely no coincidence, as Procol Harum founder Gary Brooker plays Hammond organ on this track, contributing mightily to its almost retro, classic rock feel. Whether these lyrics have some other special significance for Kate is something only she can say, but it seems entirely likely given the highly personal nature of this song.

This song is also listed in the Discography section.
